Directions to Make Your Own Bottle Opener 

1. Find an object with flat area over 2"(barrel stave, half a baseball, piece of wood, etc.)
2. Using a 2" Forstner bit drill down ~ 1/8th" so the insert sits flush in the recess.
3. Using a 1" Forstner bit in the middle of the previous hole drill down ~ 3/8" to 1/2"
4. Place the insert in the recess and use a small twist bit to drill pilot holes for the screws.
5. Use a phillips head bit to screw in the wood screws
6. Find your favorite bottle of beer and pop the top on that bad boy.
7. Take a nice long pull from the bottle and enjoy the satisfaction that only making something yourself can bring you.
